Absolute lunacy is a blessing to some, as it allows one to no longer be concerned with the trivial trifles of morality. Leaving the mind focused on the bare-bones statistics.
Our never-blinking doctor has a hobby of flip-flopping on the edge of deliriousness. On sunnier days, he takes a brief moment to ponder, whether his brain is a sentient being that performs these antics on purpose.

What he lacks in reason, he more than makes up for in - you guessed it - ambition. One man built an army large enough to chain the new globe to his whim.
